Your Support Matters
Methods of learning vary greatly depending on the needs of each family. Public, private, charter, homeschool or unschool...each one carries it's individual challenges, but what's consisent throughout each method is the financial burden of providing your children access to quality learning opportunities.
Eclectic Learning Network was not only inspired by youth, but also various families who were seeking quality programs without going into debt.
ELN is a connection. A connection dedicated to building partnerships with organizations and local small businesses that support interest-based and self-directed learning opportunities for youth. For the past year, ELN has provided over 50 opportunities for youth and parents. Partnering with Free To Be Dance Academy, Tata Cafe, The Unschooling Life, Natural Creativity Center, Talking Stick, Unidos da Filadelphia, Wissahickon Environmental Center, Pleasant Playground Recreation Center, Philadelphia Public Library, The Food Trust, Books & Stuff, Artists & Craftman, Barnes & Noble and the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University for the upcoming Homeschool Overnight & Conference on Friday, October 6, 2017.
When a family becomes an ELN member, they have access to year-round programs for free or at the most affordable rate possible. For non-members, affordabilty is equally as important. As the network continues to grow, the cost of supplies for activites, workshop facilitators, space rental, and travel will increase. This is where your support matters.
With your support, ELN will be able to continue providing quality programs at an affordable rate while increasing family participation, as well as upgrade business capabilities.
